NC Center for Nonprofits Relocates to Faringdon Place

The Initiative welcomes the NC Center for Nonprofits as the newest tenant in its office complex in north Raleigh. NC Center CEO Jeanne Tedrow is a longtime friend of the Initiative, both in her current capacity and in her former role as executive director of Passage Home in Raleigh.

“Even in our globally connected world, proximity can yield important connections and opportunities to improve NC’s communities,” notes Tedrow. “We are looking forward to sharing space with our statewide partners and friends from the NC Community Development Initiative and NC Housing Coalition.”

Tedrow has served on the Initiative’s board of directors for a number of years and has also worked closely with the NC Housing Coalition.

“We extend a very warm welcome to Jeanne and her team,” exclaims Initiative CEO Tara Kenchen. “We are excited their offices will be so close, and expect having three influential statewide organizations housed under one roof will provide many opportunities for creative collaboration as we work to lift up North Carolina communities.”
