Management training offered for minority and women-owned small businesses

January 25, 2013 – The N.C. Institute of Minority Economic Development and N.C. Department of Transportation will co-host an executive management program Feb. 24-March 1 for small minority- and women-owned design and construction companies that want to do business with agencies that receive U.S. Department of Transportation funding.

The intensive week-long program held at the Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill will provide cutting-edge training from leading management faculty, networking opportunities with successful peers, and engagement with strategic partners.

The cost is $300. Registration is required.

Eligible participants must be certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. The business owner’s net worth must be less than $1.5 million.
