Kenchen joins N.C. Housing Coalition board of directors
The N.C. Housing Coalition named Tara Kenchen to its board of directors. She is chief operating officer and general counsel for the N.C. Community Development Initiative.
Kenchen brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, affordable housing development, business development and contract negotiation and management to the board of the N.C. Housing Coalition.

Housing Coalition,” said Tharesa Lee, Housing Coalition board chair and executive director of Neuse River Community Development Corp.  “Her wealth of experience and expertise from the N.C. Community Development Initiative will be invaluable to us as we move forward.”
The N.C. Housing Coalition is a private, nonprofit membership organization working for decent, affordable housing that promotes self-determination and stable communities for low- and moderate-income North Carolinians. Its mission is to lead a campaign for housing that ensures working families, people in crisis, seniors and persons with disabilities may live with dignity and opportunity.
